Weight of 1 US Gallon of water = approx. 8.35 lb (about 3.785 kg) Weight of 1 Imperial gallon (i.e. UK measure) of water weighs 10 pounds (4.536 kg) by definition, at a specified temperature and pressure.
8.35 pounds. Because ice is a solid, technically you cannot measure ice usinggallon as the units. However, a gallon of water that has turned toice will have the same weight before and after freezing. This willnot be true if the temperature is lowered even further or the iceis under pressure. At 4 de…grees C, just before freezing, a gallon of water weighs 3.79kg or 8.35 pounds. ========= All the above do not take into account that water expands in volumeas it freezes (that is why Ice floats) thus if you started with agallon of water, you would have more than a gallon of ice. The density of ice is 0.9169, the density of water is 1.0 Therefore a gallon of Ice will weigh 7.5598405 pounds or 3470.4665grams, while a gallon of water weighs 8.245 pounds or 3785 grams. (MORE)
One US gallon is 3.79 L, so it would weigh from 2.69 kg to 2.91 kg, or from 5.92 to 6.42 lbs. One Imperial gallon is 4.55 L, so it would weigh from 3.23 kg to 3.50 kg or from 7.12 lbs. to 7.72 lbs.
The density of ethanol is 0.789 g/cm 3 , or 0.789 kg per liter. . There are 3.7854 liters per gallon, so 1 gallon of ethanol weighs 2.987 kg. . There are 2.2046 lbs per kilogram, so 1 gallon of ethanol weighs 6.584 lbs. . Compare that with the weight of 1 gallon of water: 8.3454 lbs
Water weighs 8.345 lbs/gallon. Normal values for urine's specific gravity are between 1.002 and 1.028 which means that normally, a gallon of urine weighs between 8.362 and 8.579 pounds, or slightly more than water. However, if you have a gallon of urine, you have bigger things to worry about than ho…w much it weighs.. Dieters: remember to pee before stepping on the scales (1 pint is aprox 1 pound)! (MORE)
Answer . The specific gravity of pure cream (milk fat) is 0.93. One gallon of water weighs 8.34 (rounded to the nearest hundredth) pounds. Therefore, one U.S. gallon of cream weighs 7.7562 pounds .
5.92 to 6.4. Its basically 6lbs per Gallon. Avgas for airplanes which is 100 octane with low lead is 6 pounds per gallon too.
\nAVGAS or 100ll fuel weighs approximately 6 pounds per gallon on a standard day. A little less on a hot day, a little more on a cool day.\n. \nJet Fuel is approximately 6.6 pounds per gallon
That depends if it's a gallon of melted ice cream, or solid ice cream in a gallon sized tub. Ice cream often has loads of air added to it so they can sell less of it to the customer.
To be classified as light cream, the product must contain less than 30 percent butterfat but not less than 18 percent butterfat. Standard weight per US gallon of Light Cream at 18 percent butterfat is 8.51 pounds.
A traditional Italian artisan yellow base mix contains 1030g milk (3.5% fat), 300g sugar and 12 egg yolks (approx 200g). Total weight 1530g. When mixed, whipped and frozen the air added (called overrun) increases the volume by a factor of 1.5. So, 1.53Litres makes 2.3 litres of ice cream. Divide ori…ginal ingredients weight by 1.5 to find amounts required to make 1 litre. ie 687 g milk, 200g sugar and 8 eggs (approx 120g). Use conversion factor of litres to US gallons (3.75 I believe) to find amounts you need. (MORE)
Depends on if you are talking about light or heavy cream. Heavy cream weighs about 8.3 pounds per gakkon
A gallon is a measure of volume used for liquids. Gold is not normally not measured by volume but by weight. A troy ounce of gold would have a volume of 1.61 cm 3 . cm 3 = 0.00026417205 gallons 3785.41 cm 3 = 1 gallon Therefore, a gallon of gold would weigh 2351.19 troy ounces. Answer . Seawater has a density of about 1.025 g/mL (it will be more dense at the deepest depths though). There are about 3785 mL in one gallon, so one gallon of seawater has a mass of 1.025 * 3785 = 3879 grams per gallon Converting this to weight... 3879 grams per gallon = 8.552 US poun…ds per gallon (MORE)
1 gallon half and half cream weighs about 3872 grams (a little over 8.5 pounds).
Heavy cream is actually about as dense as water. Its specific gravity at 20 deg. C is 0.994 since the high butterfat content balances off the solids. Water weighs about 8.345404 pounds per gallon the cream would be 8.345404 pounds/gal * 0.994 = 8.29533 pounds/gal . Note: As the final answer, it… would round to 3 significant digits 8.20 pounds/gal . If you want to calculate the weight of, say, 5870 gallons you would multiply as follows: 8.29533 pounds/ gal * 5870 gal = 48693.59635112 pounds ...and that answer should be rounded to 3 significant digits: 48,700 pounds. If you haul milk or cream, figure 8 pounds to the gallon. 47,000 pounds is close enough for loading a truck. (MORE)
A gallon of ice cream has 16 cups of ice cream. It takes 22 cups of milk to make a gallon of ice cream.
The weight of one gallon of ice cubes is 3.785 kilograms. This isequal to 3,785 grams or 8.345 pounds or 8 pounds 5.526 ounces.
Fluids, like solids, have differing densities and therefore different weights. (i.e. aluminum vs. lead) You would need to specify the type of fluid to have a valid question.
A US gallon of acetylene weighs approximately .01 pounds. However,it is usually measured in cubic feet instead of gallons.
One gallon of ice cream weighs about four and a half pounds. Thisis also equal to 2.04 kg or 2,004 grams.
4lbs is my guess....I do know that 930 gallons of paper weighs enough to break a lift on a truck...we recycled 930 gallons of paper so far this month here at Belton HS in Belton, TX
Yes. Light ice cream dies not mean light in weight. It means low in fat.
That would depend on the kind of fat, as not all fats have the same density.
Gallon is a unit of volume, Kg is a unit of weight (mass). 1 Gallon = 3.7854118 liters Considering a liter weighing 1 Kg (water for instance), then a gallon weighs 3.7854118 Kg. Water weights 8.328 lbs. per gallon. since while freezing water expands slightly a gallon of ice will be just a fe…w onces less or approximately 8 lbs. (MORE)
Antifreeze is half water, half ethylene glycol. Just look their densities up on Wikipedia, average them, and multiple by the 1 gallon and there is your mass.
If you were to go to Vons and buy a rectangular bucket of ice cream, it would cost maybe $3. If you bought the small Hagiindas ice cream, it would cost about $1. So, it depends on the type, where you are, and what season it is.
9.282 lbs per gallon @ 2300 feet in 62 degree interior temperature. Urea mixture being weighed is AdBlue.
Easiest way is to see how much high fructose corn syrup weighssince Heinz is 98% HFCS..
lets see: 1 US gallon = 0.133680556 cubic feet concrete weights about 150 lbs / cu ft. 145 lbs unreinforced. 145 x .133680556 = 19.38368062 lbs
phosphorus' atomic mass,it's weight,is 30.974 . the atomic number on the other hand is 15
The cost of ice cream would depend on the variety you have choosen, as play variety (vanilla, chocolate) are cheeper more fancier varieties (french vanilla, chocolate chunk, etc. So the cost would vary to from $18.00 to $69.99.
it depends on what kind of ice cream you buy. if you go to the grocerey store, look at all the kinds of ice creams they have in gallons. look on the nutrition facts label. it says how much sugar is in it.
There are 128 fl ounces in a gallon, so you would divide 128 by two, because its a half gallon, then divide that number by two again because you are counting two ounce scoops as one. So, there are 32 two ounce scoops in a half gallon.
a gallon of milk weighs around 8.34 pounds. So i would imagine that a gallon of ale weighs around the same.
A gallon of ink only refers to the container that it is packaged in. Furthermore a gallon is a measure of volume, not weight. The weight of the ink to fill a one gallon container will vary with the color of the ink as the components vary. White ink has a higher density than black ink and will weigh …considerably more. In most countries ink is sold by the litre (or liter as it is spelled in the U.S.), where in the U.S. ink is sold by the container and is expected that it will be filled to the fill line, but not always due to settling during shipment. This is further complicated with the different measuring systems in place. Should one weigh ink as a liquid, such as water, or as a bulk item, such as shortening? Both are measured differently. A U.S. liquid gallon, used to measure water, gasoline or juice is considered to weigh about 3.78 litres, where a U.S. dry gallon used to weigh bulk items is considered to weigh 4.4 litres. The Imperial (UK) Gallon weighs about 4.5 litres, which is used in the UK, Ireland and to some degree in Canada. Bill Hood UltraSol Ink http://ultrasolink.com (MORE)
.681 (specific gravity of heptane) X 8.35 lbs (weight of one gallon of water) = 5.68 lbs
The weight would depend on the density of the ice cream since a fluid ounce is a unit of volume while weight is a measure of mass and local gravity. Real ice cream (not the supermarket or sugary fast food crap sold in the U.S.) is less dense than water, so four fl oz. of ice cream should weigh less …than four fl oz. of water. U.S. ice cream, being mostly sugar and water, would have the same or greater density than water, so should weigh more than water per unit of volume. Also, volume of a fluid depends on temperature and pressure. (MORE)
ben n jerry doesn't come in gallons only pints. i wish it did though but consider paying 22 dollars for a gallon lol
I believe it is the amount of a trash can divided by a squirrel then you multiply that by pie.
Clear ice weighs about 7.6 lbs per gallon so 21 gallons would weigh about 160 lbs.
Not sure but the current Managing Director is hell bent on ruining the product with his obsession with cost.
It all depends on the ingredients. Not all ice creams are made the same. Some are whipped and air takes up volume (these are considered lower in quality for a number of reasons), some use artificial ingredients and others are made with truely natural ingredients. some are made with dairy and some ar…e dairy free, which can be a significant difference in cholesterol . To answer the question one would need to know what the ingredients are. If not homemade then at least the brand name and flavor. (MORE)
Answer: Strangely enough one gram of ice weighs 1 gram . The same as one gram of any other substance. To get the weightin newton, convert the mass to kilograms, then (assuming normalEarth gravity) multiply by 9.8.
It depends on how much you have. Two scoops weigh twice as much asone scoop.
Cream is only 4% of whole milk, so you will need almost 25gallons of milk to get the cream needed to make 1 gallon of icecream. Just buy a gallon of already separated cream. It is much simpler.
